loc_subsets

loc_subsets(chanlocs, subset_sizes, plot_optimization=False, plot_subsets=False, mandatory_channels=None, *, random_state=0)

Separate channels into maximally spaced subsets.

Channel indices are zero-based. When requested subset sizes do not consume every channel, a final subset contains the remainder. Mandatory channels remain in their requested subset throughout optimization.

Parameters:

• chanlocs (Sequence[dict[str, Any]])

• subset_sizes (Sequence[int])

• plot_optimization (bool)

• plot_subsets (bool)

• mandatory_channels (Sequence[Sequence[int]] | None)

• random_state (int)
